   Let's take a look back

Lisa Knight (born Lisa Clare) and Scott Clare grew up in Northridge, California back in the 70s. Those were the days of climbing trees in the cul-de-sac, your mom calling you in for dinner when the street lights came on, and building forts out of cardboard and masking tape. 

Cell phones weren't quite on the scene just yet...but who needed them when you could just head out to your front yard at anytime where there was bound to be a friend or two looking for a third to play catch. Life was good back then. 

Although it was a simpler time, we still had some of the same problems as kids today—embarrassment, bullying and acceptance. The Doodle Dance is based on a time when my little brother Scott was being made fun of for doing a dance when he got nervous.
